Digital Product Passport (DPP) & DPP ID
Support EU-style product transparency with an optional Digital Product Passport add-on. Publish a DPP ID, link sustainability and supply-chain fields, and offer limited public lookup on Ownership Tag.
What is a Digital Product Passport?
A Digital Product Passport (DPP) bundles product identity and transparency data—such as materials, origin, carbon footprint, recycling, and supplier information—so stakeholders can access trusted information about a physical item. In the EU, DPP requirements are expanding under sustainability and circular-economy rules; manufacturers need systems that can issue and maintain passport data over a product's life.
DPP ID on Ownership Tag
On Ownership Tag, a DPP ID is a unique reference to optional passport data linked to your product registration. It is an add-on for manufacturers and brand partners—not required for standard consumer registration. Use our public tool to look up a DPP ID when data has been published.
EU digital product passport readiness
Ownership Tag helps you connect anti-counterfeiting (certificates, QR verification, ownership history) with DPP-style fields your team already collects. Exact ESPR compliance depends on product category and required data elements—contact us to map manufacturer workflows and the Developer API for scale.
